An esthetician is a professional who specializes in the care and beautification of the skin. Estheticians provide preventive care for the outer layer of the body and offer a variety of treatments to maintain or improve skin appearance. A career in esthetics is perfect for the person who wants to help improve a person’s health and beauty through the treatment of the skin.
The Esthetics program is designed to ensure that our students are receiving the skills required by the industry. Our program focuses exclusively on skin care and skin health and includes training in skin care physiology, skin care products, skin nutrition and more. Students will get hands-on experience in microdermabrasion, chemical peels, temporary hair removal, body treatments, facial massage, deep pore cleansing, facials and makeup artistry. By the end of the program, students will be prepared for their esthetic licensure in states where a license is required. Graduates will leave with the skills necessary to qualify for an entry-level position in esthetics.
