The X-ray Medical Technician – Medical Assistant Program, offered at our Little Rock, Arkansas, school, provides classes and training to help you excel. Our goal is to prepare you for the Registered Medical Assistant Certification Exam and the Limited-Scope X‐ray licensure, where applicable.
This program offers courses in traditional medical assistant curriculum as well as limited‐ scope radiography. You will receive training in the clinical and administrative duties required for a variety of medical settings. Graduates will be qualified to perform the general duties of an entry‐level medical assistant and be able to perform routine X-ray procedures assigned by a supervising physician.
Learn how to draw blood, obtain vital signs, take limited-scope X-rays, perform basic laboratory tests, conduct an EKG, and manage administrative functions such as patient billing procedures and patient charting in the electronic health record.
