Veterinary technicians generally work in various types of veterinary practices and clinics, animal shelters, and specialty and referral veterinary hospitals. In these practices, technicians have the opportunity to work with a variety of species, including small and large animals and exotic species.

This easy to reach campus near the Kansas Turnpike features two facilities that include student lounges and a resource center along with fully equipped classrooms that support our hands-on approach to education.
As students prepare for their healthcare career, they often study in simulated, real-life settings that include two X-ray labs, two medical assisting labs, a pharmacy lab, a computer lab, a dental lab, a veterinary lab with a fully functioning surgery suite, an instructional gym for personal training students and a massage clinic that is open to the public.
