Our program staff has designed the necessary curriculum to prepare you for the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE). Veterinary technicians generally work in various types of veterinary practices and clinics, animal shelters, and specialty and referral veterinary hospitals. In these practices, technicians have the opportunity to work with a variety of species, including small and large animals and exotic species.

As students prepare for their healthcare career, they often study in simulated, real-life settings including a therapeutic massage clinic and an esthetics salon that are open to the public, two X-ray labs, two medical assisting labs, a pharmacy lab, three computer labs, a surgical lab, an instructional gym for personal training students, and a veterinary technician lab.
