An Esthetician is a professional who specializes in the care and beautification of the skin. Estheticians provide preventive care for the outer layer of the body and offer a variety of treatments to maintain or improve skin appearance. A career in Esthetics is perfect for the person who wants to help improve others’ health and beauty through the treatment of the skin. The Esthetics with Spa Massage program is designed to ensure that our students are receiving the skills required by the industry. Our program focuses on skin care and skin health and includes training in skin care physiology, skin care products, skin nutrition and more. Students will get hands-on experience in microdermabrasion, chemical peels, temporary hair removal, body treatments, facial massage, deep pore cleansing, facials, and makeup artistry and various massage and bodywork methods. By the end of the program, students will be prepared for their esthetic licensure and will be eligible to sit for the MBLEX.
